ikalanni jahi (2001), was born in las vegas, nevada, but moved with her family to detroit, michigan in her early years . growing into the arts from a very young age, she has been involved in many extracurricular groups and activities including the skillman foundation, detroit neighborhood arts corp, noel night, and more . most of her artistic experience has been gained over the years, but her concentration in painting and illustration solidified in high school . she has gone on to transfer into the university of michigan penny w. stamps school of art and design in 2020.

 

ikalanni is currently living on-site at university of michigan as she take a few years off from pursuing a master's degree .

and, fun fact: she loves the color pink !
